Issue Nº 1 · Autumn MMXXVI
EVERY PIECE BELONGS TO TIME & PLACE.
Victorian and Edwardian furniture, marbles, objets and far-Eastern curiosities — gathered from houses that no longer needed them. Their story continues under the watchful gaze of new custodians.

New to the House
II · The Manifesto
The second son got the spare room, the spare horse and, eventually, the spare furniture. This house of style deals in what was surplus to someone else's requirements: the library table left behind when the library went, the urns brought back from a Grand Tour nobody quite remembers taking, the bizarre curiosity obtained on the wayward nephew's sojourn in Papua New Guinea. For a brief moment in time, some of these relics find respite with us, before the next chapter of their history is written.
Due to corporeal transition, unforeseen financial circumstances, or the vagaries of changing taste, for the previous owner, our pieces were deemed excess. Perhaps they have found a new heir.

III · Room of the Month
The Garden
Statuary, fountains, sundials and stone benches: the furniture of the open air, weathered to exactly the right degree.
IV · The Inner Circle
For the trade
Designers, decorators and the professionally acquisitive: trade prices, first sight of arrivals, and holds while consideration is in progress.
V · The Dispatch
Nº 1
Of Faded Empires
On the peculiar pleasure of owning something that outlived the people who commissioned it.
